Looking to Spread some Christmas Cheer?
Thank you for wanting to be a part of spreading holiday cheer to local families!
We have several options this year, so please let us know what works best for you & your group!
- Adopting individuals and families for Christmas
- Wish lists will be obtained by our Staff and provided to you.
- Please complete this short form to let me know how many people you’d like to buy for:
- Gifts should be new and unwrapped and delivered by 12/12.
- Chemung County: deliver to our Church Street Office
- Schuyler County: deliver to Schuyler Outreach Food Pantry
- The families that are being adopted are experiencing homelessness or domestic violence. They are staying at a local motel or Safehouse and do not have much space for their personal belongings. To that end, we are suggesting that gifts be brought in in a storage tote (no larger than 31 gallons) that families can use to store the gifts in while they’re in the motels.
- We have volunteers who will wrap the gifts and our Staff will deliver them.
- Host a drive to collect warm items.
- We are in need of blankets, as well as men’s and kids’ sizes of hats and gloves.
- Items should be new and unwrapped and delivered by 12/30.
- Host a drive to collect personal hygiene items (Bar Soap, Deodorant, Feminine Hygiene Products, Shampoo, Toothbrush Covers). Items should be new and unwrapped and delivered by 12/30.
- Provide $25 Gift Cards to local stores to add to Christmas Food Boxes for families. (Walmart is a favorite.) Needed by 12/11/23.
